WELCOME TO OUR NEW WEBSITE
Welcome to our new Web Site! We think our site is fantastic! It is sophisticated, interactive, informative and fun. We hope you think so too.
We have been working with our Web Designers; Hamilton & Bond, to move our Web Site into the 21st Century and we think we have achieved a fresh new look for the Heartland Region. If you would like to share your thoughts about our new Web Site, let your Area Team Representative know or send your comments to me by clicking on the link below.
WELCOME TO THE REGION
The National Outreach Department in Virginia Beach has been reviewing the region operating structures throughout the country. In an effort to geographically unite states that have been divided among several regions, South East Michigan has been moved into the Heartland Region. The Region has had all of Michigan except South East Michigan, which includes the Detroit metro area. With this move we will be uniting the entire state of Michigan into our Region.
Currently there is an area team in Detroit and we will be supporting their program and outreach effort with our book service operation. We hope to have an opportunity to meet the Detroit Team in the coming months. For now let’s give a big welcome to Ruth Smith, Bill & Pat Schulte, Margaret Dwyer and Sam & Diane Jett!
WE ARE GROWING
In an effort to further consolidate the Region structure throughout the country, the Lake Erie Ohio Valley (LOVE) Region is being dissolved. Effective January 2010, the state of Ohio will be moved into the Heartland Region. Currently this transition is in process and we eagerly look forward to welcoming Ohio into our Region.
Currently there are two active Area Teams in Ohio, Cincinnati and Columbus. As we make progress toward completion of this transition, we will be providing more information about our new team members and their Area Teams so we can welcome them into our community of members and friends. Stay tuned!
