Edgar Cayce subjugated his conscious mind to Higher Consciousness to access the Akashic Records, see visions of the past and future, and even travel in the celestial realms.  Most of us stand in awe of Cayce, but Edger himself said that we could all do what he did, if only we knew how.

 Are you ready to . . .

. . . travel safely to the other side and see loved ones who have passed?

. . . journey backward to your past lives to understand life patterns and learn the identities of current friends and lovers in other incarnations?

. . . voyage to the spirit world, the realm of life between lives, to explore celestial kingdoms, meet your spirit guides and masters, and discover you life’s purpose?

On May 14 Gregg Unterberger, MEd, will be presenting the cutting-edge research that is changing what we believe about the afterlife.  Gregg will be at the Hilton Greater Cincinnati Airport, 7373 Turfway Road, Florence, KY from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Join Gregg as he brings clarity and humor to complex spiritual truths with mind-expanding graphics, evocative music, and exciting exercises to help you understand your relationship with the Divine through direct experience.  Don't miss this unique adventure in inner awakening and self discovery.

Gregg Unterberger, MEd, is a licensed professional counselor in private practice in Austin and former clinical supervisor and adjunct faculty in psychology at Texas State University.  Gregg is also a lifelong student of metaphysics and the Edgar Cayce reading, who specializes in catalyzing spiritual experience in ordinary people.

Some Thoughts on Edgar Cayce's Philosophy and Vibration

“Man demands a beginning and a boundary so in the beginning there was a sea of spirit, and it filled all space.  It was static, content, aware of itself, a giant resting on the bosom of its thought, contemplating that which it was.

Then it moved.  It withdrew into itself, until all space was empty, and that which had filled it was shining from its center, a restless, seething mind.  This was the individuality of the spirit; this was what it discovered itself to be when it awakened; this was God.

God desired to express Himself, and He desired companionship.  Therefore, He projected from Himself the cosmos and souls.  The cosmos was built with the tools which man calls music, arithmetic, and geometry: harmony, system, and balance.  The building blocks were all of the same material, which man calls the life essence.  It was a power sent out from God, a primary ray, as man thinks of it, which by changing the length of its wave and the rate of its vibration became a pattern of differing forms, substance, and movement.  This created the law of diversity which supplied endless designs for the pattern.  God played on this law of diversity as a person plays on a piano, producing melodies and arranging them in a symphony.

Each design carried within it, inherently, the plan of its evolution, which was to be accomplished by movement, growth, or, as man calls it, change.  This corresponds to the sound of a note struck on a piano.  The sounds of several notes unite to make a chord; chords in turn become phrases; phrases become melodies; melodies intermingle and move back and forth, across and between and around each other, to make a symphony.  The music ends as it began, leaving emptiness, but between the beginning and the finish there has been glorious beauty and a great experience.”

What a beautiful expression of the Edgar Cayce Philosophy and Vibration.  This excerpt was taken from a pamphlet entitled, Edgar Cayce The Man and His Philosophy.  Kevin Todeschi Executive Director and CEO of Edgar Cayce’s Association for Research and Enlightenment, has written a book, Edgar Cayce on Vibrations.  In it he explores the impact of vibrations upon each and every one of us and that from Edgar Cayce’s perspective, personal vibrations are as unique as a fingerprint.

On April 16, Kevin will be presenting a day long program, Edgar Cayce on Vibrations and Soul Growth, at the Edgar Cayce Holistic Center in Des Plaines, IL.  This exciting program will explore your own soul growth and examine how you can apply spiritual principles in the earth, raising your consciousness and personal vibration in the process!  You won’t want to miss this program!

John Van Auken Returning to Columbus OH

Please mark your calendars for an exciting presentation by John Van Auken, who will be coming to Columbus, OH on Saturday, April 2, 2011 to talk about his new book From Karma to Grace: the Power of the Fruits of the Spirit.

He will be at the First Community Church– Brownlee Hall, 1320 Cambridge Blvd., Grandview, OH, from 9 am to 4:30 pm

In his newly published book, From Karma to Grace: the Power of the Fruits of the Spirit, author John Van Akin reveals the simple yet profound path that takes one from living in the grind of karma to the light and peace of grace. John is returning to Columbuson April 2 to present his ideas and offer a unique perspective on the ways that karma and grace affect our lives. In this training session, he will illustrate how to use the foundation of spiritual living found in the psychic readings of Edgar Cayce – concepts and practices such as love, joy, kindness, gentleness, patience, and faith – to transform yourself and your path.

For a preview, see John Van Auken discuss his book From Karma to Grace at this link:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3SQtIib-7I. In this YouTube video, he says that karma is suspended for a time when you attempt to become a better person by assimilating the Fruits of the Spirit into your thoughts, feelings, actions and words. Inside the fruit is the Seed of the Spirit, which grows and gives life to the Spirit within you. John also discusses the Gifts of the Spirit such as Wisdom, Understanding, Knowledge, and wise Counsel.

What's Your Mission?!

Written by Cellie

Are you bored or frustrated with your job?  Do you feel unfulfilled?  Are you hoping to find your true purpose in life?

According to Edgar Cayce, the father of holistic medicine who emphasized the importance of finding one's purpose in life, each individual has a unique mission or sets of missions which he was born to live.  Through finding and living one's mission, one feels confidence and happiness.  One feels a sense of peace in knowing that he is doing what he was meant to do.  In living your mission, life is not seen as a chore, but rather a creative, growth-filled process.

What determines our mission?  Or soul.  Our soul is the spiritual part of an individual, which is driven to find meaning.  By giving one's soul meaning one allows for its expression and growth.  This translates into an individual who walks his path with relative calm, versus one where he is always fighting an uphill battle.

The soul's journey is not without its challenges nonetheless.  However, by keeping in mind that working through soul challenges leads to greater self-understanding and acceptance, one may feel more inspired to stay on this path.  This in turn, will support finding one's mission.

During difficult economic times, it can be a challenge to keep oneself focused on one's mission or to make time to find it.  One is then left with a few options.  One can walk away from his mission leaving him with frustration, perhaps believing that it could never mesh with "real world" demands; or, one can hopefully and pro-activitely take steps to find his mission and lead a life that brings him peace, happiness and a feeling of "this is what I am supposed to be doing."  Given the option of not living one's mission is it worth it?!

On March 26, in Brentwood, MO, we will offer a full-day workshop on finding your mission.  The course will guide you in discovering your talents, spiritual ideal and individuality through a five-step process which will lead to your formulating a mission statement for your life.  This discovery process will include mini teacher presentations, reflective time and small group sharing.

WHAT IS THE END PRODUCT?  By the end of this workshop you will have produced a mission statement to serve as a guide in living your life with meaning and happiness.  It will be based on your key talents and strengths and how they work well as a team, as well as what you feel you need to be doing in this lifetime.  It will also incorporate your individuality and spiritual ideal.  An example of a mission statement is as follows: "To empower others.  To inspire others to feel confident to look within themselves for insight and courage in order to become who they are meant to be"

This will be a special day for the "sole" Smile purpose of nurturing your soul's need as it relates to its purpose.  We will work diligently and also have fun.

Cellie will be your presenter on March 26, 2011, at the Brentwood Community Center, 2505 S. Brentwood Blvd, Brentwood, MO 63144.  The program starts at 9:00 am and concludes at 5:00 pm.  There is no fee but a Love Offering is requested.  For registration or if you have any questions, feel free to call Cellie at:  314 277-6721.

Cellie has a BS in teaching and an MA in counseling.  She feels a deep passion in guiding others towards finding their mission.

1st Trip – A Philosophy to Live By – Edgar Cayce

begins May 11th

Welcome to the brand new A.R.E. Heartland Exploratorium.  Just as we spend time in an audit-orium to listen, or better yet to hear, so the Explor-atorium is a place for exploring, and hopefully, for discovery and growth.

Beginning on May 11, the Exploratorium will offer the first of a variety of Trips through the world of Edgar Cayce and beyond.  Each Trip will focus on one topic, led by an experienced fellow seeker, and planned for a specific length of time.  The details of how each trip will unfold are determined as much as possible by the topic and the leader, and may differ widely from one to another.  An internet blog associated with our web site will be the basis of our efforts, enabling participants to interact at a time of their choosing.  The result is an optimal combination of customized personal interaction and the often invigorating exchange of a group experience.

Trip Detail.  Our first trip - an eight week exploration of A Philosophy to Live By – Edgar Cayce, led by Ron Hounsell, will begin May 11.  The Trip will provide an overview of Cayce principles and concepts along with recommendations for how to enthusiastically engage the world we live in.  Each week we’ll discuss a pair of what Cayce calls Patterns of Life, and pose some questions for your consideration.  By the end of the trip, you’ll have a good, high-level sense of Cayce’s view of life and death and life, plus many other things.  All materials will be provided via the web site at no cost.  As an introduction to this service, the fee for this Trip is discounted to $59 or $50 for members rather than $99 or $90.
